The 2023 USA BMX Race season is at its last weekend of racing and the Chase Pro Team took to the main events today in Tulsa, for the USA BMX Race of Champions.
As it’s the last chance for the Pro’s to gain point towards the USA BMX #1 Pro title, both Joris and Barry are leading the #1 title chase. Barry kicked things off in the main event. Barry took the early lead but would have a good battle with Jeff Upshaw and Khalen Young. He would hold off the hard charge from both riders and take the ROC Win, giving him another win for the 2023 season.
Next up was Joris. Riding strong all day, Joris was looking to add another win as well, but his star was just off the mark and he was stuck in the back of the pack going into turn #1. Joris would fight his was to 3rd and take a spot on the podium for the last race before the Grands race day on Friday.
Heston Novotny made his Chase team debut as he raced his way through the qualifying rounds today, The ROC main event for the Amateurs in on Friday afternoon.
