WARRANTY POLICY

We hope that you wont need to read this, but if you have a part that seems to have failed and you believe its due to a manufacture defect, then read through the following to see if you fit the requirements for our Warranty Policy. Please review our warranty policy before contacting us.

Most of BRG Products offer a limited 12-Month Warranty

BRG stands behind the products we produce. If there is a issue with the way the item was made from the Manufacture, the filling outlines the policy. Some items have a different warranty period, and will note the length. Except as otherwise set forth herein, BRG warrants its products for the following:

Complete Bikes have a 90 day warranty for all parts. Cranks with pedal inserts have a 90 day warranty policy. Tubes have a warranty for MFG defect from 1st airing up only. Anodized or Painted parts do not have a warranty from color change, fade… This is due to reasons out of our control.

Products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year (12 months) following the original purchase from an BRG dealer (does not include 3rd party sales such as eBay, craigslist… or any second-hand purchase, giveaway etc). The BRG warranty is only available through our network of authorized distributors and their qualifying dealers.

The BRG warranty applies to only the original owner and is not transferable. You must submit your original proof of purchase receipt from the dealer, no exceptions.

Any warranty claim must be made through the dealer where the item was purchased. Original receipt is required to confirm date of purchase and that it was from an authorized dealer.

If you must send the item back to BRG, the cost of return shipping to the dealer or BRG is not covered, and is the responsbility of the sender. BRG will cover shipping costs of the replacement item to you or the dealer, if it meets the warranty requirements to be replaced.

BRG is not responsible for any labor charges for replacement or repairs for the warranty process.

BRG makes no other warranties, guaranties, or representations of any type (express or implied), and all warranties (including any implied warranties of reasonable care, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose) are hereby disclaimed.

Carbon Fiber Products – Warranty Limitations & Care of your Carbon Product

BRG is excited to offer some of the best Carbon Fiber frames and parts in BMX, But Carbon fiber is used for race specific applications only and needs to be cared to and treated differently than other materials. Never clamp a bike rack, bike stand, or any type of clamp to any carbon fiber part. The outer layer of carbon can easily be damaged with a hit, dropping your bike on a sharp hard surface, or during a violent crash. You should inspect your product anytime it may seem to have made contact with anything.

Carbon fiber parts are covered under warranty to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase and applies only to the original owner (See Limitations of Warranty and Crash Replacement Policy). Carbon fiber frames are covered under warranty to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase and applies only to the original owner.

Carbon fiber products are designed to be lightweight and pass stringent EN standards, but they may not be suitable for all rider sizes and riding styles.

If you crash, drop your bike, or your bike has been involved in a heavy impact any carbon fiber frame or parts should be inspected by a professional bicycle mechanic.

Carbon fiber is unlike metal, it will break rather than bend, twist or deform. A damaged carbon fiber part can break at any time and should never be ridden on.

Crash/impact damage or lack of proper care is NOT covered under warranty.

Carbon fiber products should ONLY be installed by a trained professional bicycle mechanic.

Check your carbon fiber frame or parts regularly to ensure there are no surface imperfections. Damaged carbon fiber can fail suddenly and without warning, causing serious injury or death.

Carbon fiber can conceal damage from an impact or crash. If you suspect that your carbon fiber part has been crashed or impacted, stop riding immediately and have a professional bicycle mechanic inspect the part.

BMX carbon Frames are for BMX racing ONLY and are not for dirt jumping or any other use that is not for their intended purpose.

Carbon fiber products should not be cleaned with harsh chemicals; use only soapy water.

BRG Warranty Process – How to file a warranty claim with BRG

For USA residents, please contact the dealer where you purchased the item from, or BRG by email about your warranty issue before returning it. Be ready to supply the following information – Summary of purchase, with copy of original receipt, completion of a claim form, images/pictures of the product are required before an RA number is issued. Upon receipt of this information, a decision can be made if the product is required back for inspection. Failure to provide the required information will delay the processing of the claim.

For non-US residents, please contact the BRG distributor in the country which you purchased the product. International distributors can be found on our website under distributor list.

When returning a product, it must be returned as it was originally purchased, with no parts removed or retained.

Once the warranty return has been confirmed with BRG, you must send the product back to BRG quoting the RA number issued to you.

After BRG examines the product and determines it is defective or faulty, your product will be replaced. Warrantied products are subject to repair, availability or alternative products deemed more suitable by BRG. Exact color and model is not guaranteed. If you have an outdated model or version of a product, that still fits into the warranty period, you will be responsible for the difference in price of the product.
