Warehouse manager job

The BMX Racing Group Warehouse manager job involves oversight of both materials and labor in our Torrance, CA distribution center of BMX product storage location.
The manager of the BRG warehouse must be able to have good organization skills, time management skills, all while ensuring that activities and policies are carried out according to our guidelines, with the opportunity to suggest new ideas to make the position more efficient. Excellent communication skills are important. The pace of a warehouse can be very active due to incoming and outgoing materials, making it important for a manager to be able to focus on multiple tasks at the same time. Additionally, the warehouse manager job involves the responsibility of assessing the need for adjustments in supplies and labor, organization, local pick up and delivery cordination.
Other duties include – Organization of UPS, USPS, and International shipments, inventory control, warehouse supply inventory coordinator, working with local suppliers for needed supplies, the ability to work alone as well as with others, and open to learning new duties related to the business at BRG. Full time position is available with flexible hours, as well as schedule.

Industrial Designer

Industrial Designer sought by BMX Racing Group, Inc. in Torrance, CA to develop and design electronic and mechanical components of BMX bicycle parts; draft scale drawings and blueprints for production; create design proposals, including design layouts, comps, mock-up visuals, three-dimensional prototypes, engineering production drawings and blueprints; utilize CAD design and bicycle production technologies, including Solidworks, CATIA V5, AutoCAD and Adobe Indesign; select materials and manufacturing processes to ensure cost efficiency and quality output; plan and facilitate the production of three-dimensional functional prototype to ensure that engineering specifications are adhered to in the manufacturing process;   collaborate with management and professional riders throughout design process to establish objectives, styles, design-function relationship, serviceability, materials, engineering methods, manufacturing processes, budgets, costs and scheduling; adjust and refine all designs using working prototypes in order to ensure continued customer satisfaction and safety, enhance product feasibility, and address any production constraints; incorporate design details to accommodate advertising on final manufactured products and packaging; attend trade show events and industry-related events to study competing products and design styles and aid in the development of new design concepts; this position requires international travel to Europe, Taiwan and Thailand (20% of the time) to attend factory meetings and ensure quality production control.
Requires Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience designing layouts, comps, mock-up visuals, three-dimensional prototypes, engineering production drawings and blueprints for BMX bicycle parts; and utilizing Solidworks, CATIA V5, AutoCAD and Adobe Indesign. Alternatively, the employer will accept an Associate Degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience as described above. This position requires international travel to Europe, Taiwan and Thailand (20% of the time).
